The State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport continues the process of modernization of vehicle control and measuring points in order to fulfill the instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, and within the framework of the requirements of current legislation.
As part of these measures, the checkpoints are equipped with modern and innovative equipment, including:
stationary, dynamic and mobile scales;
automatic weight detection systems (the ability to weigh a vehicle when moving at speeds up to 100-120 km/h);
smart surveillance cameras;
alternative energy sources (solar panels) are provided.
These technologies make it possible to accurately determine the weight and dimensions of cargo vehicles in motion, reducing human interference in the control process.
The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan annually attracts significant funds for the reconstruction and modernization of highways and bringing them in line with international standards. Therefore, the reasonable use and protection of roads is the primary task of every user.
In accordance with article 82 of the Automobile Transport Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, carriers and drivers are required to ensure compliance with established weight standards during loading and transportation.
In order to prevent premature destruction and maintain the technical condition of roads, the service carries out round-the-clock monitoring. In accordance with article 311 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Tajikistan, the following fines are provided for violations of the rules for the transportation of heavy and bulky goods::
drivers from 50 to 70 indicators;
officials from 120 to 150 indicators;
legal entities from 300 to 500 indicators.
In his address to the Majlisi Oli, the President of the country stressed: “It is necessary to introduce a mechanism for digital control of freight traffic.”
In this regard, the relevant services and structures have been instructed to implement the project “unified digital network for cargo transport weight control”. This measure not only prolongs the service life of roads, but also guarantees full transparency of the transport control process.
