The State Service on Control and Regulation in the field of Transport is called upon to implement the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 30, 2024 No. 192 “on timely preparation of economic and social spheres of the Republic for regular and effective activities in the autumn-winter period 2024-2025” and the Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 2, 2024 No. 86 “on timely preparation of the transport industry of the republic for regular and effective activities in the autumn-winter period 2024-2025”. the order (No. 40 dated 05/6/2024) and to prepare a plan of internal measures, in accordance with it, the process of preparing transport companies, societies and state institutions for the maintenance of highways for wintering was taken under control.
In order to implement the developed action plan, employees of the services of automobile transport companies and societies carried out explanatory work on preparing for winter, while they were required to fully prepare for winter workrooms and repair shops, as well as every vehicle, in particular vehicles plying on travel cards, with the necessary accessories. Instructions were also given that it was necessary to check the operability of the heating system, braking and wiper mechanism of each vehicle, as well as replace the water cylinder with antifreeze and nylon cylinders with rubber ones. At the same time, it was necessary to provide each vehicle with accessories for a chain, a wire rope, a shovel, an anti-slip support, an incandescent lamp and a first aid kit.
In addition, the process of storing anti-slip materials, fuel, lubricants, winter warm clothing and preparation of equipment and mechanisms intended for wintering was regularly monitored in state institutions for the maintenance of highways, prescriptions and notifications were issued on the elimination of identified defects and malfunctions, according to the results of the work carried out, appropriate acts were drawn up with drawings attached.
In order to maintain highways at the proper level in the autumn-winter season of 2024-2025, in order to ensure uninterrupted and safe movement of vehicles, timely snow and avalanche removal, on request, responsible service personnel in all regions of the republic were assigned to impassable and dangerous sections of highways and passes that control the situation with precipitation and icing in They provide timely information to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Service.
