In the nine months of 2024, 1959, cases of non-compliance by drivers with the rules for the transportation of bulky and heavy goods were recorded, in respect of which, in accordance with article 311 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up and fines were imposed in the amount of 7052400 somoni, which is 11% more than in the same period last year.
Also, during this period, 358 special permits were issued for the transportation of bulky and heavy unallocated cargo, of which 916 thousand 283 somoni were paid to the republican budget.
In order to avoid premature breakdowns of motorways, 213735 units (165911 units last year) of cargo vehicles were weighed at weighing points and a weighing certificate was obtained, which is 29% more than in the same period last year.
Overloaded trucks were also unloaded by 2,699 tons (nine months last year – 1,759 tons), which is 53.4% more compared to the same period last year.
In order to prevent and protect the condition of highways from the passage of heavy-duty vehicles, in accordance with the approved plan, the maintenance personnel notified cement plants, sand and gravel processing quarries and coal mines of compliance with the norms of loading cargo onto a motor vehicle when loading cargo and monitored its implementation. During the nine-month period of this year, protocols on administrative offenses were applied to 20 manufacturing enterprises and 1 recipient enterprise as officials and fines were imposed for non-compliance with loading standards.
