On March 10 of this year, an extended official meeting was held in the meeting room of the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport under the leadership of the head of the service and with the participation of the management, heads of departments, departments and staff of the central office.
This meeting was devoted to the issue of “timely and high–quality performance of official duties based on the instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon,” set out in the next Message of the Majlisi Oli of the country.
The main issues under consideration are this review and an in-depth analysis of the main points of the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the Republic”, especially regarding the development of the transport complex and the transformation of Tajikistan into a transit country.
Review of the process of implementing the points of the Action Plan of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Protocol instructions of the control meetings of the head of the service, directly related to the competence of the service.
Strengthening state control in the transport industry in order to ensure regulation of freight and passenger vehicles and improve the quality of transport services.
In this context, every employee of the service is obliged to perform their professional duties at a high level and make a valuable contribution to the implementation of the State’s strategic goals in the field of transport.
During the meeting, reports of responsible structural units were heard, and a critical analysis of the existing shortcomings was carried out.
In order to ensure the effective performance of tasks, appropriate decisions were made and strict instructions were given to responsible persons, including:
- to keep under constant control labor discipline and timely fulfillment of import documents.;
- expand efforts to digitalize the industry and introduce modern technologies into the management process; – to carry out services and payments only by wire transfer;
- ensure timely payment and reimbursement of related fines to the national budget;
– take appropriate practical measures to eliminate malfunctions of heavy-duty vehicles, the movement of which may lead to damage to highways before the expiration of their service life.; - improvement of professional relations with citizens and business entities within the framework of industry legislation.
This meeting will serve as an important factor in increasing the accountability and coordination of the service staff’s collective activities towards achieving national transport goals.
