DIGITALIZATION OF THE TRANSPORT INDUSTRY BASED ON THE MESSAGE OF THE LEADER OF THE NATION

On March 4, 2026, the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport held a training seminar on “Digitalization of the transport industry based on the Message of the Leader of the Nation” with the participation of the leadership and staff of the central office and structural divisions of the Service within the framework of the regular Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was noted at the event that the digitalization of the economy is always at the center of attention of the Head of State and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. 2025-2030 has been declared the “Years of Digital Economic Development and Innovation”, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 14, 2025, №AP-815 and the implementation of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated October 26, 2021, №460 “On the medium-term program for the development of the digital economy in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”, The purpose of which is to strengthen the process of digitization of various industries of the country, in particular, the transport sector and identify further steps towards the effective implementation of the instructions and instructions of the Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, towards the transition to electronic government, the targeted use of digital technologies and the achievement of electronic document management in relevant structures.
As you know, the Republic of Tajikistan is at a new stage of transition to the digital economy, having taken effective measures to digitalize the economy in various sectors of the country. In recent years, it has achieved a number of achievements that contribute to the digitalization of social spheres, including transport, to improve transport services, simplify and transparency the activities of service system structures.
Then the participants of the event made presentations on the topics “issues of digitalization of public services in the field of transport”, “analysis of the Message of the Leader of the Nation in the field of transport and digitalization of the industry” and “digitalization of the service system and non-cash activities in the light of the Message of the Leader of the Nation”.
At the same time, it was noted that the Message highlights important issues of the political, economic, social and cultural life of the cultural society of Tajikistan as a bright light, leadership and driving force of society.
Subsequently, in order to switch to a digital system, reduce paper documentation and simplify the work of inspectors on highways, employees of the Service Department in the city of Dushanbe were equipped with specialized tablets.
This step makes it possible to draw up protocols on administrative offenses and make appropriate decisions in real time (online), wirelessly and promptly transfer payment of fines to the national budget, save working hours, ensure transparency of inspectors’ activities and timely performance of official duties.
It should be noted that this step is the first stage of the industry’s digitalization plan, and it is expected that other structural divisions of the service will be periodically equipped with modern technological equipment.
