The head of the Service Kurbonzoda Daler Kurbon met with representatives of the prestigious South Korean company REXGEN at the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport.
The meeting was attended by senior staff of the service and the management of the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Digitalization in the field of Transport”The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, which discussed the implementation of modern technologies in the country’s road infrastructure.
The central topic of the negotiations was the installation of dynamic Scales (WIM – Weigh-in-Motion) and intelligent surveillance cameras. These technologies allow you to:
– Determine the weight in motion mode: cargo vehicles undergo weight and size checks without stopping and creating deformation.;
– 24/7 video surveillance: cameras with artificial intelligence recognize vehicle license plates and record violations of traffic rules and cargo transportation standards;
– Digital payments: the new system will allow fines to be imposed and paid using digital devices and equipment, completely eliminating the human factor in the process;
-Purpose: path protection and transparency of operations.
During the conversation, the head of the Kurbonzoda service, Daler Kurbon, stressed that the introduction of innovative technologies by REXGEN is carried out as part of the fulfillment of the instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, to accelerate the process of digitalization of the country’s national economy sectors.
He noted that the introduction of this modern system is carried out in accordance with the requirements of current legislation, including the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Public Services”, Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated December 29, 2006 №779 “On approval of the rules of passage on highways of vehicles weighing and measuring exceeding the established standards”, Government Decree Of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 3, 2025 № 597 “On the Register of Public Services”, strategies for the development of artificial intelligence in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040 (Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan №483 dated 30.09.2022), Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 28.03.2022 №124 “On Rules for optimization and automation of public services”, Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 22, 2023 №586 “on measures to expand non-cash payments”, implementation The concepts of the digital economy in the Republic of Tajikistan and automation of the administrative work in the field of transport create a favorable basis for automated control. This initiative is aimed not only at protecting the quality of highways from the negative effects of vehicles exceeding the weight limit, but also plays a key role in ensuring full transparency, reducing the human factor in the activities of inspectors and improving the culture of using roads of international and national importance.
