A control meeting was held today in the meeting room of the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport, chaired by the head of the Service, Kurbonzoda Daler Kurbon. The meeting was attended by the management, heads of departments, employees of the central office and structural divisions of the Service.
The head of the Kurbonzoda service, D.K., began the meeting and delivered a speech for the high-quality and timely fulfillment of official duties and strengthening of industry activities, emphasizing that monitoring compliance with legislation and regulating the activities of subjects of the transport complex is our main task. Protecting highways from premature breakdowns and improving the level of service to citizens should be a priority for every employee.
At the meeting, the process of implementing the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 8, 2011 №569 “On the introduction of seasonal restrictions on weight and load on the axles of vehicles” was widely discussed. It was noted that the deadline is set from May 1 to August 31 of this year, when the air temperature exceeds 25 °C, from 10:00 to 20:00.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the service gave specific instructions to the responsible persons to eliminate the existing shortcomings and intensify their activities.:
1. Accelerate the process of collecting the amounts of administrative fines imposed for 2024-2026 and ensure their receipt by the budget;
2. Strict observance of the Code of Ethics of a Civil servant and the culture of communication with drivers and passengers;
3. Strengthening state control over the activities of passenger and cargo vehicles and compliance with transportation rules;
4. Ensuring round-the-clock monitoring of compliance with weight and load restrictions in the summer.
Kurbonzoda D.K. expressed confidence that the staff of the service will fulfill their obligations with a sense of high patriotic responsibility and make a worthy contribution to the development of the country’s transport infrastructure.
