On April 8, 2026, a final meeting was held in the hall of the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport on the results of the activities of the service and its structural divisions for the first three months of 2026. The meeting also defined a task plan for the first half of this year.
The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dear Azim Ibrohim, and was attended by Shoista Saidmurodzoda, Deputy Minister of Transport (patron of the industry), Kurbonzoda Daler Kurbon, Head of the State Service for Supervision and Regulation of Transport, Saijafar Saidzoda, Head of the Land Transport Department of the Ministry of Transport, Suhrob Yakubzoda, Director of the State Unitary Enterprise Center digitalization of the transport industry”, Jahangir Pirov – First Deputy Director of the State Institution “Road Transport and Logistics Services”, management and heads of structural divisions of the State Service on Control and Regulation of the Transport Sector.
Kurbonzoda Daler Kurbon, Head of the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport, reported on the results of the activities of the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport and its structural divisions for the first 3 months of 2026 and tasks for the first half of 2026.
During the review of the reports, the Minister of Transport and other officials pay special attention to the following areas of activity: strengthening the fight against the movement of heavy vehicles in order to prevent premature destruction of highways, strict monitoring of compliance with legislation in passenger transportation and speeding up the transition to non-cash payments, the full transition of the industry to an electronic system and the use of modern technologies in planning and control.
At the same time, special attention was paid to the issues of language and professional training of employees, observance of dress culture and etiquette of communication, preventing youth from joining extremist parties and movements, fostering a patriotic spirit among employees and respect for state values.
At the end of the meeting, Minister of Transport Azim Ibrahim gave specific instructions to those responsible for the timely and high–quality implementation of the instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, and assessed the activities of the service in the reporting period as satisfactory.
The officials of the structural divisions were instructed to take urgent measures to eliminate the existing shortcomings and achieve significant results in the first half of the year.
