Dear brothers and dear colleagues!
I sincerely congratulate all of you on the occasion of the ancient Garden festival and wish you health, happiness and good luck.
It is worth noting that in the cultural memory of the Tajik people, the Garden festival has the same status as the Navruz and Mehrgon holidays, and it is very good that it has been celebrated at the national and international levels for the past few years.
With the blessing of state independence, the Garden Festival has been revived. Now its ancient splendor is increasing more and more. The main goal was to get rid of the harsh winter cold, achieve Nowruz and have a good year for sowing. In addition, artisans, butchers, grooms, wrestlers and those who were fond of craft performed on the day of the celebration of the Garden festival.
The Garden Festival, as a national and national holiday, is not only celebrated and entertained, but also becomes a source of assistance to agricultural producers, promotes the development of horticulture, viticulture, floriculture, animal husbandry and crop production, as well as landscaping in general.
Thus, the Garden Festival is one of the elements of the rich culture of our ancestors, which is socio–economic in nature, and also encourages people to integrate and work hard. As Emomali Rahmon, the leader of the nation, emphasized: “Garden rituals encourage people to do kind and pleasant things, such as saying kind words to each other, respecting each other, living in peace and tranquility, being partners with each other in all situations, doing good deeds, loving the earth, protecting nature and doing other good deeds.”. It is these harmonious features of Tajik cultural traditions that, despite the turbulent historical processes, largely persist to this day. In order to preserve such elements of the rich culture of the nation in purity and purity, we must always preserve them and strive to further strengthen their social status.
The Garden Festival occupied a special place on the historical path. During the reign of the Ashkanids, the Sassanids and Samanids greeted it with great celebration and splendor, and our great figures of science and literature, such as Firdavsi, Anvari, Manuchehri, Farrukh and others, created valuable works in honor of this national holiday.
As the Leader of the Nation emphasized:”every inhabitant of the Motherland, from young to old– should know the history of the origin, formation and historical path of the holidays and rituals of their ancestors, study them and strive to expand and enrich them.”
Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on the Garden holiday, wish you success in landscaping and the beginning of a new season of activity, and wish each of your families peace and prosperity, happiness and a prosperous life.
Happy Garden Day!
