Since the beginning of March this year, Tajikistan and Iran have been canceling the visa regime for drivers and driver assistants of international transport. According to the source, drivers with regular passports of Tajikistan and Iran can enter each other’s territory without obtaining a visa through all border crossings. The allowed stay of up to 30 days is determined in each 90-day period.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that ”this step will help simplify international transportation, expand trade and economic cooperation and increase the efficiency of logistics between the two countries.”
