On September 1, 2025, a control meeting was held under the chairmanship of Kurbonzoda Daler Kurbon, Head of the State Service for Supervision and Regulation in the Field of Transport.
The meeting discussed important issues related to the service’s activities, including:
monitoring compliance with legislation and regulating the operation of public passenger transport in the city of Dushanbe and other cities and regions of the country;
elimination of heavy and oversized vehicles exceeding the established load standards to avoid premature destruction of roads;
regulation of dirty vehicles moving without a protective curtain;
inspection and control of the construction, repair, and reconstruction of road projects;
transition to a full-fledged digitalization process in light of the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan dated December 28, 2024, with the aim of expanding innovative processes and fully utilizing the capabilities of digital technologies within the framework of the 2025-2030 “Years of Digital Economy and Innovation”;
the process of cashless payment, the use of cashless payment means when making payments for public services in accordance with the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 22, 2023, No. 586 “On measures to expand cashless payments”;
discussed the timely preparation for regular and effective activities in the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026.
In this regard, the review referred to regulatory legal acts, including the Road Transport Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, which regulates relations related to the transportation of goods, passengers, and baggage, including the protection of roads from damage and compliance with weight standards for heavy vehicles.
In this regard, the Deputy Chief of the Service, the heads of the departments and divisions of the central office, as well as the heads of the structural units of the Service, were given specific instructions and assignments to address these issues and ensure proper preparation for the celebration of the 34th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
As a result of the meeting, appropriate decisions were made on the issues raised.
