Dear compatriots!
I sincerely congratulate all of you on the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The adoption of the Constitution and the introduction of the presidency in a national referendum took place on the same day, which falls on November 6, 1994.
This is one of the main foundations of our statehood. It is being improved in connection with economic progress, peace and national unity, and in this regard, the leader of the nation, dear Emomali Rahmon, recalls: “improving the Constitution allowed us to take even more decisive steps to further strengthen the achievements of independence, strengthen the foundations of statehood, unity and stability of society, build a truly civil society, socio-economic, political and cultural development, improving the image of Tajikistan in the international arena.”
Compliance with the norms and requirements of the Constitution and the education of public self-awareness are very important and necessary to enhance constitutional culture and legal education. In this regard, the announcement of “2024 – the Year of Legal Education” is very timely and appropriate.
For many years, the Constitution, as a guarantee of the happiness of the nation and a fundamental political act, determined the future of progress and development of the state and embodied the most important democratic principles recognized by the world community.
Thus, today, on the eve of the thirtieth anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, we must feel more keenly than ever the presence of this supreme fateful act of the nation in the life of society.
We learn to live in the circle and axis of this act, establish its norms and rules of behavior and protect its values like the apple of our eye.
May the happiness of the Tajik people – the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan as a guarantor of peace and stability, defender of the state and society in our beloved country always be strong and unshakable!
Today we must continue these good traditions of our ancestors and educate young people in the spirit of patriotism and self-knowledge, respect for national values, study modern sciences, knowledge, professions and crafts, respect for law and order, respect for the rule of law.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate the proud people of the country on the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of a free and democratic Tajikistan, I wish every resident of the Motherland good health, good luck, and eternal stability and growing progress to our beloved Homeland.
