A solemn meeting on the occasion of National Unity Day entitled “The historical role of national unity as a solid foundation of statehood and a factor in the development of economic and transport stability of the Republic of Tajikistan” was held in the meeting room of the State Service for Supervision and Regulation of Transport. The meeting was chaired by the head of the service, Dear Kurbonzoda Daler Kurbon, and was attended by the management, staff of the central office and representatives of the structural divisions of the Service.
During the event, the speakers spoke about the historical significance of national unity, the valuable contribution of the Leader of the Nation to restoring peace and stability, overcoming the consequences of difficult years of civil war and ensuring the sustainable development of independent Tajikistan.
It was emphasized that it was thanks to the consistent efforts of the country’s top leadership that peace and unity were strengthened in the country, a solid foundation was created for rapid economic and social progress and the strengthening of national statehood.
The speakers regarded national unity as a great historical achievement of the Tajik people and stated that its preservation and strengthening is the sacred duty of every citizen of the country.
At the end of the event, the head of the service thanked the invited guests for participating and holding such a fruitful meeting and stressed that such meetings and conferences play an important role in increasing a sense of patriotism, national identity and honoring the values of peace and national unity.
Following the meeting, appropriate decisions were made, taking into account the opinions of the participants.
