On January 8, 2026, the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport held a meeting with representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, the management and staff of the central office and structural divisions of the Service for the implementation of the sectoral program “Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030”, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan №222 dated August 3, 2021, entitled “The fight against corruption is a team effort.”
The meeting discussed and reviewed the proposals of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan and its institutions concerning the staff of the service, appropriate disciplinary measures were applied against those responsible, and explanatory work was carried out to prevent the recurrence of such situations.
At the same time, it was noted at the meeting that in order to implement regulatory legal acts aimed at combating corruption and the instructions and instructions of the leader of the nation with the broad participation of civil society and every individual in society, increase public confidence in government agencies and increase the effectiveness of the fight against corruption, it is necessary to conduct anti-corruption propaganda.
In this application, we need to appreciate all the achievements of the independence period, including Peace and stability, not to lose political vigilance and welcome the celebration of the 35th anniversary of our state independence with valuable achievements and special glory.
All conscientious and honest people of the Motherland, following the kind and merciful deeds of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, will unanimously and collectively overcome all the shortcomings and problems that have arisen during this sensitive period. With a high understanding of everyone’s responsibility for the development of a young and independent state, beloved Tajikistan, we are working for its prosperity.
At the same time, it was noted that managers and responsible employees of the central office and structural divisions of the service should pay primary attention to the issues of proper placement of employees, improving their skills and professional training, as well as taking decisive measures to prevent and eliminate factors contributing to corruption. Following the meeting, relevant decisions were taken.
