He spoke about the historical significance of the national flag, which symbolizes luck and independence, the indestructible union of all social strata, friendship, equality and stability for the prosperity of our dear Motherland.
Quoting the words of the leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, who ruled that our national flag has a multi-thousand-year and colorful history, history has proved that the Aryan peoples were among the first in the world to create a flag ceremony, mentioning that the national flag holiday is one of the holidays that today represent the image of Tajikistan as an independent, a cultured and civilized state in the world
Continuing his speech, he stressed to the employees of the service and its structural divisions: “Performing our official duties and talking with employees of the transport complex, we must understand with pride, national identity and a high sense of responsibility that we represent Tajikistan under the national flag. Every time the national flag is raised in honor of the victories of Tajikistan’s athletes, the people of the country and Tajiks abroad are proud and inspired by a sense of patriotism.”
It was emphasized that, along with other sacred national symbols, honoring the national flag and showing respect for it is the duty of conscience of every citizen of Tajikistan and every Tajik. “The national flag is a symbol of the steadfastness of the state, unity, national identity and the best means of educating teenagers and youth in the spirit of pride in national statehood and protection of the values of Tajik history and culture,” concluded the head of the service.
During the event, the guests and staff offered congratulations in honor of the national flag and presented membership cards to new PDPT members in the midst of the event.
