On October 13, 2025, a weekly control meeting was held at the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, chaired by the head of the service, distinguished Kurbonzoda Daler Kurbon, with the participation of heads and staff of the central office, as well as heads of structural divisions of the Service. At the meeting, the results of the activities of the structural divisions were summed up and specific instructions were given on further analysis of the results. At the same time, the following issues were considered:
- monitoring compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan and regulating the activities of public passenger vehicles in the city of Dushanbe and other cities and districts of the country;
elimination of movement of heavy-duty and oversized vehicles exceeding the established norms in order to avoid premature destruction of highways in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Highways and Road Transport Activities” dated August 3, 2015, №1230;
- streamlining the activities of dirty and moving vehicles without a protective curtain and, thus, the creation of vehicle washing points near buildings under construction in accordance with the requirements of industry legislation on environmental protection and road safety;
- review and control of the process of construction, repair and reconstruction of highway projects in accordance with national and international standards;
- transition to the full process of digitalization of the service on the margins of the message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan dated December 28, 2024 “On the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan” and legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on the expansion of innovation processes and the full use of digital technology opportunities in the framework of 2025-2030 “Years of development of the digital economy and innovation” in in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 3, 2025;
- non-cash payment processing, the use of non-cash means of payment when paying for public services in accordance with the requirements of Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 22, 2023 №586 “on measures to expand non-cash payments”;
- timely preparation for regular and effective activities in the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026.
In this regard, specific instructions and instructions were given to the deputy heads of the Service, heads of departments and departments of the central office, as well as heads of structural divisions of the service to complete these tasks by the end of 2025 and eliminate existing shortcomings. Following the meeting, relevant decisions were made on the issues raised.
