Dear compatriots and colleagues!
I am happy and proud to congratulate all of you on the occasion of the Day of the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is celebrated on October 5 and is one of the most important holidays and symbols of our national identity. This day is not only a celebration of our Tajik language, the language that has been passed down through the millennia of our ancient civilization, but also a symbol of our national unity and the strength of our statehood.
The Tajik language, which has evolved into an invaluable treasure over its long history, from the wisdom of Rudaki and Ferdowsi to the modern works of Tajik literature and science, plays a crucial role as the state language in all aspects of society, from government to transportation and the economy.
In this regard, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, emphasized: “The Tajik language, which is considered one of the oldest and most beautiful languages in the world, has described the ancient history, unique culture, and civilization of a nation that has provided the world with life lessons and great human morality, and continues to fulfill this mission to this day.”
It should be noted that during the period of state independence, under the far-sighted and moral leadership of the nation’s leader, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, in our beloved country, independent Tajikistan has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring genuine respect and appreciation for the state language, as well as its dignified status and continued development. As a result of the consistent implementation of state policy aimed at developing the language, the linguistic values and real potential of the language have expanded unprecedentedly in society, and the Tajik language, as the language of the Tajik state, has received support from high-ranking international organizations. Indeed, it is the sweet and elegant Tajik language that has united our nation for thousands of years and led us to our current happy period.
The State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport is taking the necessary measures to implement one of the most important areas of state and government policy, as well as to carry out the instructions and orders of the leader of the nation in connection with the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan” and the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the State Language Development Program for 2020-2030”.
After all, knowledge and application of the norms of the native language is a sign of respect for the nation, Motherland, sovereign state, national and patriotic pride.
We must love our native language, along with national history, culture and civilization, as our mother, cherish it, strive for its purity and innocence, and contribute to strengthening its status as the state language.
With this, I once again congratulate all of you and wish you health, well-being and prosperity, as well as the well-being and blessings of the Tajik language in every family.
Happy State Language Day!
