The State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, laws and regulations of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, orders and regulations of the Ministry of Transport and the work plan, carries out certain supervision and regulation of the transport complex.
According to the analysis of the service, 211 public road transport enterprises, 2,093 maintenance points, 41 passenger terminals, 6 cargo terminals, 67 automobile headquarters, 259 road enterprises and 107 railway enterprises are currently registered in the field of transport complex services. Compliance with the terms and requirements of the license is under control.
During the first quarter of 2025, the service, in compliance with the requirements of the legislation on passenger and freight transportation by road, railways, road facilities and points of maintenance and repair of motor transport, issued a total of 391 licenses, 258 licenses were re-registered and, in general, due to the issued licenses, the republican budget received 213 thousand 765 somoni.
