Dear compatriots,
employees of the country’s transport industry!
I sincerely congratulate you on one of the greatest and most sacred national holidays – National Unity Day, which is a solid foundation of statehood and the main condition for the development of society.
National unity is one of the greatest historical achievements of the Tajik people during the period of independence and has proved that progress and development of society, socio-economic development are possible precisely on the basis of peace, tranquility and mutual understanding of citizens.
The path to this grace was not easy. In the early years of independence, our country was dragged into the maelstrom of civil war due to political differences that caused huge life and economic losses. In such sensitive and fateful circumstances, the Founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, entered the political arena and united the people under the slogan “I begin my work with peace and bring peace and tranquility to the suffering people of my country.” The round-the-clock efforts of the wise leader of the nation led to the signing of the general agreement on the establishment of peace and national accord in Moscow on June 27, 1997, which prevented the threat of the disappearance of national statehood.
Today, tranquility and security, embodied in the blessing of peace and unity in the country, have laid solid foundations for the construction of grandiose structures and the rise of various sectors of the economy. It was in a free and calm atmosphere that the country’s economic and transport infrastructure developed significantly, and the construction of international roads, tunnels, and bridges helped Tajikistan break the traffic deadlock. These prerequisites made it possible to gradually develop the system of control and regulation of the transport industry and bring it in line with international standards.
The State Service for Supervision and Regulation in the Field of Transport, being an important State structure, today directs its activities to ensure the legitimate control of vehicles and services, which is a direct result of the atmosphere of peace and unity.
Protecting and strengthening national unity is the sacred duty of every citizen of Tajikistan, including every employee of the transport industry. We, the service staff, make every effort, knowledge and skills to ensure compliance with current legislation, sustainable development of the industry, improve the quality of services provided and protect this invaluable asset.
Once again, I congratulate all the glorious people of Tajikistan and all workers in the field on National Unity Day, and I wish every family in Tajikistan peace, tranquility, happiness and new victories on the path of progress and prosperity of our beloved Homeland!
Happy National Unity Day, dear compatriots!
