An official meeting was held at the central office of the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport, chaired by the head of the Service, Kurbonzoda D.K. It was attended by deputy heads, heads of structural divisions and employees of departments and divisions of the Service. The meeting was devoted to the process of performing and implementing the functions of the service in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 28, 2026 №312 “on the program for the prevention and control of diabetes in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026-2030″.The Head of the Kurbonzoda Service, D.K., opening the meeting, stressed that the implementation of this decision is necessary and mandatory for all ministries and departments. The main goal of the program is to ensure a steady reduction in the incidence of diabetes-related morbidity, disability and mortality, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population, including transport workers.”Diabetes mellitus negatively affects the ability of citizens to work and requires high social costs. Therefore, the structures of the service need to take practical measures to implement the relevant points of the Action Plan,” said the head of the service.Based on the discussions, the relevant decision of the meeting was made.
