In order to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 8, 2011 №569 “On the introduction of seasonal restrictions on the movement of vehicles on public highways”, employees of the Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of transport are daily strengthening their activities at control and measuring points.
Round-the-clock monitoring of the movement of cargo vehicles and strict observance of seasonal restrictions at certain hours of the day are among the main duties of inspectors. These measures are aimed directly at preventing premature destruction and maintaining the quality of the country’s highways.
In case of detection of cases of overloading of vehicles in excess of the established norms in relation to drivers and responsible persons, protocols on administrative offenses are drawn up in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In order to eliminate the risk of damage to the roadway, the vehicle is unloaded at the scene of the accident and its further transportation by other appropriate vehicles is ensured.
The Service respectfully asks all drivers and transport companies to contribute to the protection of the country’s roads by strictly following the rules on weight and load after the restrictions are imposed.
