For we remember from the pages of history that on November 16, 1992, at the session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, the inauguration ceremony of the Chairman of the Supreme Council took place, and the purpose of defining this date as “President’s Day of the Republic of Tajikistan” was that a new important state stage began with this fateful and defining day of Tajikistan’s further development, and the elected The President, dear Emomali Rahmon, took office. This day is known as a symbol of unity and stability and the beginning of a new period in the history of independent Tajikistan, in which the leader of the nation made great efforts to protect the independence and comprehensive development of the country.
Indeed, in the history of Tajik statehood, the President of the country, the respected Emomali Rahmon, is accepted as one of the historical and outstanding personalities who entered the political arena in difficult and sensitive situations and stages for the newly independent Tajikistan, clearly defined stability, peace and the path of further development of our country and played an eternal role in enhancing the image and status of the Tajik state. It was emphasized at the seminar that it was under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation that Tajikistan turned from a war-torn country into a developed state and into an important ring of regional integration.
In particular, significant progress has been made in strengthening the transport sector, which is regarded as one of the main pillars of the national economy. In particular, thousands of kilometers of modern roads, bridges and tunnels have been built during the reign of respected Emomali Rahmon, which have strengthened domestic and international ties. For example, the opening of the Anzob tunnel connecting the northern and southern regions of the country and the construction of international roads in the direction of China (Kulma Pass), Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan were the result of wise initiatives by the Leader of the Nation.
By a joint decision of the heads of State of Central Asia, awarding the leader of the Tajik nation, an outstanding world-class politician, the respected Emomali Rahmon, with the first “badge of honor of the heads of State of Central Asia” will be regarded as evidence of the above and a sign of recognition of the merits of this outstanding world-class figure.
