On October 20 of this year, the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport held a working meeting on the prevention of corruption factors among employees of the sphere, at which the management and employees of the service and structural divisions of the service, V.S. Khakimzoda, Head of the Investigative Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, Colonel of Justice Nurzoda H.N. – investigator of the Investigative Department of the Agency’s office in the city of Dushanbe, Captain of Justice and Abdukholikzade M.A.- The head of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Agency’s Office in Dushanbe, the Captain of Justice participated and delivered a speech.
As it was noted at this meeting, corruption is indeed a manifestation of public order, it has a negative impact on the further development of countries around the world and ensuring the constitutional rights of citizens. Currently, starting with the United Nations, all countries of the world are taking the necessary measures to eliminate this undesirable phenomenon.
In our country, the fight against corruption is one of the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, relevant authorities have been established for this purpose, and important anti-corruption documents have been developed and adopted. The contribution of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption is extremely significant in this area, and a lot of work is carried out annually jointly with other government agencies.
The founder of peace and national unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, noted the importance of this issue: “Such a negative phenomenon as corruption is one of the most serious obstacles to the development of our society. We must comprehensively study and analyze all the factors and causes of corruption and mobilize all the healthy forces of society to prevent this manifestation and reduce its intensity.”
It was noted that the State Service on Control and Regulation in the Field of Transport continues its activities to promote the policy pursued by the Government of the country by improving the regulatory framework, eliminating factors that create corruption risks, creating a favorable industry infrastructure and providing industry personnel, as well as implementing specific measures to improve public access to high-quality and timely services.
In this regard, in order to ensure timely and targeted implementation of the “State Anti–Corruption Strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 and the Action Plan for its implementation at the first stage (2021-2025)”, the relevant order of the Head of the Service approved the action plan for the implementation of the “Anti-Corruption Strategy in the Service for 2025” and its implementation is ensured.
