The Head of the Service comprehensively analyzed and reviewed the results of the Department’s activities for the first seven months of this year and set strict objectives to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan’s resolutions dated December 29, 2006, №779, “On the Rules for Passage of Vehicles with Masses and Dimensions Exceeding the Established Standards,” and November 8, 2011, №569, “On the Introduction of Restrictions on the Weight and Axle Load of Vehicles on Public Highways,” in order to regulate the operation of heavy-duty vehicles. It is necessary to strengthen control and completely eliminate their illegal movement on public highways.
It was emphasized that employees who facilitate the movement of heavy vehicles and do not take appropriate measures will be subject to restrictions until they are dismissed from their positions.
The Department of Licensing was given specific instructions to increase the number of licensees in the Sughd region, and it was recommended that they work with their subordinate departments and divisions, draw up protocols on administrative offenses, and summarize and report their work on a daily basis.
During the meeting, the head of the service made comments to the management and responsible officials of the Department of State-owned Motor Transport and Logistics Services of the Sughd Region regarding the wearing of uniforms, the corresponding service, the individual use of freight forwarders, and the receipt of an index, as well as activities that were not coordinated or approved, and demanded that such activities be discontinued.
