Today, on the eve of the celebration of the great historical holidays, the 28th anniversary of the Day of National Unity, which is a fateful date of national reconciliation, full of peace and stability, which is the basis for the development of all aspects of society in the recent history of our independent state, we sincerely congratulate you all on the Day of National Unity and wish you peace and prosperity.
Therefore, we are obliged to strive to implement the ideas of national unity and its sustainability, to work together in order to raise and strengthen national values and expand the consciousness of our national statehood, which is the foundation of the progress of dear Tajikistan.”
Today, we proudly declare that every proud citizen of the country strives to strengthen peace and tranquility, political stability, protect the country’s peace, strengthen the foundations of national statehood, develop the state, and improve our beloved homeland.
As we remember, in the 1990s, our recent history faced the threat of the disintegration of the Tajik nation, its disintegration, and the disappearance of the newly independent Tajik state.
It was thanks to the round-the-clock efforts of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, that peace and tranquility, political stability, unity, and mutual understanding with the people of Tajikistan were achieved through difficult and lengthy negotiations, and at the same time, in exchange for the lives of thousands of dedicated and patriotic young people.
It should be noted that the country’s government signed a general agreement on establishing peace and national consensus in Tajikistan with the unification of the opposition forces during a period that was truly fateful for the ancient Tajik people, in order to avoid a terrible tragedy, and 28 years have passed since then. These twenty-eight years of national revival, self-improvement, and self-discovery, as well as peace, stability, and tranquility, will be recorded in golden letters in the history of our statehood.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, noted that “the national unity of the Tajiks is an invaluable treasure that has been achieved through great effort and suffering, and moreover, through the lives and sacrifices of thousands of selfless children of the nation.
Today, we must cherish peace, stability, and national unity as the apple of our eye and an invaluable treasure, value our independence, and take pride in the great blessings of our Motherland and Fatherland. We must be grateful for having arrived on such a peaceful day.
We are proud that, thanks to our full independence, peace, and stability, we have entered a phase of sustainable development and have created favorable conditions for a peaceful life.
The result of the selfless work of our glorious people is the improvement and beauty of our beloved country, and most importantly, the increase in the standard of living and quality of life for our people.
I am confident that the employees of the country’s transport sector will continue to support the good and constructive initiatives of the nation’s leader, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and will make significant contributions to the development of society, strengthening the foundations of statehood, and achieving national goals through their dedicated work.
In this regard, I once again sincerely congratulate all of you on the historic and fateful event of national unity, I wish all the residents of the country good luck in doing good and creative deeds, and I wish that our beloved Motherland will have a strong unity, eternal peace and stability, and in every family-joy, happiness and blessing.
